Three OCOB staff are among over twenty five members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) who were awarded a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of their services and contributions to the Institute.

To qualify for this award, one must be a member of the Institute in good standing for a minimum period of 5 continuous years, demonstrated exemplary service to the Institute, served in Council committees or task forces for at least two full terms and offered services to the Institute as an employee for at least 6 years two of which must include provision of support to the Council directly or through the committees among other qualities.

The Controller of Budget CPA Dr. Margaret Nyakang’o and Deputy Controller of Budget CPA Stephen Masha and CBC for Vihiga County CPA Joseph Marembo were conferred with a certificate of commendation for their contribution to the profession and the nation at large in recognition of their services and contributions to the Institute.

The Office of the Controller of Budget (OCOB) congratulates the Officers for their significant achievement which demonstrates their extensive experience and shows their long-term commitment to professionalism and ethics.
