The Controller of Budget CPA Dr. Margaret Nyakang’o attended the 6^th Senate Leadership Retreat held from 12^th-15^th March, 2020 in Mombasa County. She was a panelist in the third session of the retreat where the discussion was about Resourcing Devolution: Revenue Allocation and Accountability, under the sub theme: Effectively Holding County Governments to Account.

She discussed the concept of accountability, effective audit process and the gaps in legislative and policy framework to ensure accountability of county governments.
